Their Success is our Reward! The Canadian Moose World Travelling Ice Hockey Club, previously known as The Newmarket Bombers and Toronto Moose, was founded in 1989. Over the years, the rosters have included a broad spectrum of occupations and ranges in ice hockey experience from former professional, junior and university players to "weekend" recreational players. On our travels we have introduced the sport to many new enthusiasts in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. During numerous tours "Down Under", we helped gain public awareness of the sport with a World Record attempt at playing the longest hockey game. This was a successful event and since then, the record of our thirteen hour game has been beaten.

The Canadian Moose Ice Hockey Club (C.M.I.H.C.), previously known as The Newmarket Bombers and Toronto Moose, was formed in 1989 by Mark Sadgrove as a world traveling team. The roster includes a broad spectrum of occupations and ranges in ice hockey experience from former professional, junior and university players to "weekend" recreational players. Also, the sold out crowds at a Moose game have enjoyed great excitement, especially during the challenges against the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australian National teams. Beyond competitive hockey, the Moose have experienced the best in hospitality, cultural history and traditions. Meet the Moose Guy Mark Sadgrove Founder of the Canadian Moose Mark is known to all as “The Moose Guy”. A world renowned ambassador for the game of hockey, through his development of the Canadian Moose World Travelling Ice Hockey club, has spread over the past 18 years. He played his entire youth hockey in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After youth hockey he played in the Ontario Provincial Junior “A” Hockey League and then went on to play in San Diego, California, U.S.A. on a full scholarship and then at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Mark also played and coached in Sydney, Australia for three years with the New South Wales State team and the Australian Olympic National Team.
